Questions about paying rent

When is rent due?

Rent is due on the date in your lease. If you're not sure, call or text us and we'll check for you.

How fast do Venmo payments arrive?

Usually within minutes. It's still smart to pay a day or two before your due date, especially the first time, in case anything needs sorting out.

How long does mail take? When is a mailed payment on time?

A mailed payment counts as on time when we receive it, not when you mail it. Mail can take several days, so send your check or money order well before your due date. You can also drop it off at our office during appointments.

What should I put in the note or memo?

Your property address, your unit, and the rent month, for example: Rent - 123 Main St B - September 2026. The Venmo button above fills this in for you. On a check or money order, write it on the memo line.

Do I still need to tell you I paid?

Please do. The Let us know you paid form takes about 30 seconds. It helps us match your payment to your unit and lets us know to watch for a mailed payment.

Are there any fees?

Paying from your Venmo balance, bank account, or debit card is usually free. Venmo typically charges a fee for credit card payments, and any fee is shown before you confirm. Mailing a check costs a stamp, and money orders usually have a small fee where you buy them.

Can I set up autopay?

Ask us. Call or text and we'll tell you what options are available for your lease.

What if my payment fails or goes to the wrong place?

Contact us right away so we can help. If a Venmo payment went to the wrong recipient, contact Venmo immediately. If a check is returned, we'll let you know and help you pay another way. Your lease may include a fee for returned payments.

Can I pay with cash, pay part of my rent, or pay another way?

Please never mail cash. If you need to pay part of your rent or pay another way, call or text us before your due date. We'd much rather work it out early.
